Need a Vacation? Try Mediterranean Home Decor Style! From intricately woven wrought iron garden fences, patio furniture, colourful wall art, to terracotta flooring, the Mediterranean influence is quite easy to achieve. Start by adding lamps, cushions, and wall-art to your décor, in colours that imitate nature – think blue of the sky and deep terracotta of the sand, and then accent with peach, yellow, sandy and olive pastels. Then bring out the gorgeous wall tiles in different shapes and place them in the center of your living room wall. Add to lighting using wrought-iron, scroll-work wall-sconces and panels to complete the look. An easier Mediterranean fix is to use colourful rugs or accents with quatrefoil motifs. Now bring out some flavourful cuisine and a full-bodied red, and you’ll be soon transported to the patchwork fields of Tuscany, or the twinkling city lights of Monaco, or maybe even the busy bazaars of Morocco!
